Goal For This Term

Malo e lelei, Today we have returned to our literacy class. I'm in a group named Duff. This term my goal is to post 3 or 4 times a week. I will be trying to read everyday for at least 30 minutes. I'm looking forward to achieving in reading this term. 

 

Welcome to term 3

Good morning everybody welcome back to my beautiful lovely look blog. Today was our first day of school in term 3 every first day of  the term our school we always have a immersion assembly. Immersion assembly is when our whole school comes back together in the hall and each team explains what they are going to work on this term.

Team 1, Team one shared a video to the whole school what they are working on they are working on what school from an other country eat for their lunch and morning tea and what they do after school. and what are life of students around the world.

Team 2, Team 2 did a acting video of Dora and her friends. Dora asked her map where they should go and he said to Queensland, Paris and all sorts of cool places so they are going to be working on this term about traveling and exploring around the country.

Team 3, Team 3 did a video name the amazing race. They had to fly and run around other city and country around the world. so they will be working on this term about travailing and exploring other country

Team 4, Team 4 made a video about food and where it came from the food they had was Sushi, Indian food, croissant bread and salad. they will be working on this term about food and what other food is there from other country.

Team 5, Team 5 always do a live stream they were acting about Sina and the Eal they did a act about sina diffident like the eal and told the uncles to cut the head off with a big sword. We are going to work on about Myths and Legends around the world.

What I have learnt from this is what its like around the world and that i appreciate what we do for the first day in different terms. and hearing what other teams are doing this term.

Rubbish Clean Up

Walt: This week we have been learning about rubbish then our teacher Mr Goodwin made a recount.

Today room 7 went to pick up rubbish on the reserve and it was surprisingly awesome. It was a competition. Have you had fun picking up rubbish before.

We walk all the way to the PT England Reserve. We did not know that we were going there. When we got there our teacher Mr Goodwin put us in 5 groups of 5 and gave us one black bag each my friends that was in my team it was AJ,Kohatu,Josh,Freedom and me. Then he had to choose somewhere to pick up rubbish. Then Mr Goodwin did a countdown and then we raced off fighting over the rubbish. Then Mr Goodwin had to blow the whistle and we had to go back to him and go to another area. I felt it was so fun running and picking up rubbish I like it because it is good exercise for our body. Mr Goodwin our teacher blowed the whistle at the last spot we picked up rubbish on the reserve we had to race back to him. Then he said OK come on guys let's go clean up our school fields and then we did we went to the bottom filed to pick up rubbish. But first before that starts Mr Goodwin did not blowed the whistle yet so he did and we race again. Then 1 minute later he blowed it again to come back then we went to him. Then he said come we will go to the top field and picked up rubbish so we walked there then we raced and we had lots of fun.

 I felt so happy so confidence and so so more exercised. Then at last we had to go next to our school library and see who had the most. Our other teacher that was with us Miss Haare she counted it. I  thought my team was going to win Miss Haare came because it is not safe for us with only one teacher but lucky this wonderful teacher Miss Haare came to help Mr Goodwin to look after us.

I had lots of fun and lots of friends working as a team. I had lots of fun because I can clean up the environment around our property. My friends Aj,Kohatu,josh and freedom all help each other like team work. We tried our best and we worked and worked and worked very hard.

Immersion Assembly Template

WALT: On the begging of this week Monday we had an assembly.




This morning pt England school had an assembly. The school theme is about dancing hip hop and other stuff. We had a theme named move ya body and our principal was wearing a wig. Our two teachers named Mr Somerville and Mr Jacobson were dancing with our pr. Then our principal Mr Burt came on the stage and he was wearing short ass shorts and a small T shirt.




The school theme is called Move ya Body. Everybody had to stand up and dance. We had to copy our perfect and principle. clap and other hip hop and jump jam stuff. Then we had to do it again and I was laughing and Mr Burt was doing silly dancing and it was funny I was so confidence when i was dancing and it was good fitness for us. Because it was in the morning and it was cool fitness and fun. I want to learn about dancing and writing and math and reading and all of other school stuff.






Task Description: on Monday 23rd of Jul. We had a assembly We had to go in the hall and talk about lost property cloths from riverside camp. We talk about some thing else.

Healthy Lifestyle

WALT: This is my work for school we where learning about what time we go sleep and what time we wake up.
                                       This week we are doing work about if people is getting enough sleep and exercise.

The Scary Story

Once upon a time me and my friend was so scared. We saw a clown chasing us we were running so fast and my friend name is Laura and Feleti and Junior we were so scared. We were calling out for Miss Scanlan and she was just looking for her laptop. She just got up and said who said that. I was saying Miss Scanlan, Miss Scanlan come and help up please and she dropped her laptop and cased the clown and the clown was running away and saying Mummy, Mummy.

Later me Laura Feleti and Junior went to look for something we saw a man he was looking for gold his name was Mr Goodwin he was so beautiful. So nice he said can you help me look for my gold before the aliens get it and we said why because the aliens will blow up. When we were looking for we found it and we saw the alien ship. We were looking for Mr Goodwin and the alien saw us and took the gold and it was the end of the world boom?

After that me Laura Feleti and Junior went for a walk to the zoo and we animals like zebra, lion, giraffe and monkey. Later on we saw a kiwi it look so yuk and it was so small and smelly and we saw a this man. His name was Mr Somerville and he had tattoo all over him and he broke the law of the rules and he touched the kiwi and he said it is a diseased kiwi and we were like what……? We ran away as fast as we could and we ran home. we went in the room and play game on the xbox ipad and ps4.

When I went home Mr Goodwin, Miss Scanlan and Mr Somerville said what are you doing and I said going to sleep and they said is that where you stay and I said yes. I said is that where you guys stay. they said no they said we are coming to your house to have dinner and I said Ok……? Come on in and they said thank you.
